Jon is a former All-State Track athlete and Basketball Athlete in High School. He went on to college for a track scholarship but ended up changing schools and sports to a basketball scholarship. He played Basketball at LIU post where his team was ECC champions for consecutive years. After graduating from LIU Post he realized that he wanted to be an Occupational Therapist and began his pursuit. It did not come easy it took 2 years to get his GRE and a lot of blood sweat and tears to get through the program, but he made it and earned his degree. Now he helps younger students find their path through the tough roads as a mentor which is invaluable in a career field that is mostly white. Jon is an Occupational Therapist at a Charter School in Harlem and is trying to serve his community the best way he knows how.
